R & R in Spain, Jan. 2006
The January term break was a bit longer than normal this year with three weeks plus as
the scheduled break. We got a bit lucky and found some really cheap tickets to Spain.
We have had a standing invitation to visit our friends Stuart and Yoshimi, for quite
awhile. They stayed with us in Vietnam and here in Tarsus so it was about time to drop
in on them.
They live in inner city Madrid and they showed us a very good time. What fun we had
with funky bars, ham museums, art museums and just the cities themselves, which are
museums of a sort.
